Wavewalk 500 Kayak testing. These kayaks are awesome!
Nearly impossible to sink.
They are stable enough to stand up in and move around. They work great for fishing in remote areas and also work for waterfowl hunting in marshes that are tough to get to. There are endless modifications that can be made to make these kayaks fit nearly any need.

I just wanted to share a little fun with you –
I went out to do a little bow-fishing in the kayak today, and got many fish,….but take a look at this beast!! It was a little over 37 inches long, and around 40 pounds or so! What a blast!!

Earlier in the week I went over to the [Florida] West Coast to hunt for the Big Ugly – Black Drum. Cousin to the Red Drum.
All the Blacks this week were between 20 and 40 pounds. Here are some pictures from one day of fishing –
It was a gorgeous day and being able to stand and sight fish Black Drum was an absolute treat.
Armed with my new batch of T & A Jig Heads, I bagged three heavyweight monsters and my arms felt like rubber after the mayhem subsided.
Of course one of my fishing days would exhaust most ordinary folk but I still had enough energy to paddle behind an island, drop anchor, stick an enormous Tommy Bahama beach umbrella in the mud and stretch out for a cat nap in the W 500. When I awoke hot coffee and lunch in the shade seemed in order before the leisurely paddle back to the launch.
I hauled out onto the floating dock without getting my feet wet, washed off my gear and loaded up.

My Wavewalk 50 got me to a honey hole! The Bass were hungry on a lake where the big boats can’t go! The Top water bite was on, what a blast! I tied on a chug bug first thing and I caught six but did not get them all on video. I did manage to get three on video By switching between a do nothing worm & a chug bug I just hammered them. They were taking both with a vengeance. What a morning!
