Training my retriever dog with my Wavewalk 700 duck hunting kayak

By Chris Henderson

Went hunting yesterday and it was the first time I was able to get my retriever out.  Mixed results, she actually started getting a bit shy of the gun, which will take a lot of work to fix.  Definitely fixable but a bit more work before she is in the next video.
It was just Torri and I so I used the W700.  It is a trusty platform for getting to the duck hunting spot and my go to boat.  Others with motors and heavier boats dare not tread where we hunt (in truth they would sink trying to pull the boat across the mud the 700 is heavy enough!).  But it was a bright sunny day and the water was like glass.  I even had a cup of coffee while the current took me back to the ramp.

Review of the Wavewalk S4 as a shrimping boat

By Fin Gold

The stability and closeness to the water make the Wavewalk S4 a perfect shrimping platform.
We go out on our S4 boat, named “The Dub”, with 2 or 3 people. One person in the back to operate the Tohatsu 3.5 hp motor, the shrimper in the front standing up with the cast net, and maybe a shrimp processor/sorter in the middle.
We recently harvested 40 lbs (heads off) of green-tail shrimp in 4 days of outings.

Motorized Wavewalk 500 bass fishing trip

By Rox Davis

Took the W500 out yesterday for the first time since I’ve gotten the W700.
I Didn’t have the truck, so the Kia was it.

It was a windy day, water temps still at 67 degrees.
Lots of small fish, then a couple of good Large Mouths to save the day.

I made a video, and you will laugh when you hear what happens.

Tight Lines and MoPaddle Safe all.
