Pyt Rotary
Ontario
After many configurations this is the best compromise –
1) fits easy the back of the hull
2) easy parts to buy, reusable
I usually consume 2L of gas on all exits I do with 6Hp, 3.5Hp consume even less.
I never consume more than 3L and 5L is more than plenty.
Thank you Pyt,
Perfect! 🙂
Looks very easy to move in and out of the hull.
5 liters is less than the 3 gallon tank that the outboard manufacturers typically ship with their portable motors, but it’s enough to power a 6 HP motor for 3 hours at full throttle, and for a whole day at cruising speed. In other words, it’s a good size, and in case the user goes on a multi-day trip, the S4 can carry extra fuel on board in portable tanks such as this one.
BTW, outfitting the fuel line with a filter as seen here indeed a good practice.
