Wavewalk, Background and Timeline<\/h3>\n

My name is Yoav Rosen, and I invented and patented the twin-hull watercraft known as Wavewalk kayaks and boats. I’ve been in the kayak and boat business since 2001.<\/p>\n

Between 2001 and 2004 I engaged in R&D, and in 2004, I began selling my kayaks factory direct, mainly in the US and Canada. Since then, Wavewalk kayaks and boats have been serving paddlers, anglers, hunters, divers, photographers, boat owners, scientists and engineering companies in 33 countries worldwide, with users aged between 2 and 92 years old*.<\/p>\n

In 2005, the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) granted me utility patent number 6871608 for my invention that enables the creation of new types of small, lightweight, multi-hull (catamaran) kayaks and small boats. I call this technology Micronautics, and I’ve been using it to design portable watercraft that are unrivaled in the comfort and stability they deliver.<\/p>\n

In 2018, I moved to Rhode Island, known as The Ocean State.<\/p>\n

About Wavewalk kayaks and microskiffs<\/h3>\n

Wavewalk kayaks and boats offer improvements in paddling, fishing and motorizing with the world’s most stable product in the category of personal, small-size boats.<\/a> My patented kayaks and portable boats are stabler than the biggest and widest fishing kayaks, as well as canoes and kayaks equipped with outriggers (external stabilizers), and the S4 model delivers more stability in rough water than many bigger boats do.
\nWavewalk kayaks and boats completely eliminate back pain<\/a>, leg numbness and other physical discomfort commonly experienced by people who paddle sit-in and sit-on-top (SOT) kayaks, and fish from them.
\nWhen compared to canoes and other kayaks, Wavewalk twin-hull kayaks and multihull boats offer enhanced speed, control and tracking capabilities, as well as unrivaled mobility and seaworthiness.
\nThe Wavewalk design offers by far more storage space than any other kayak does, as well as better protection from the elements.
\nTypically, my customers motorize their Wavewalk twin-hull boats and kayaks, and they enjoy the unmatched performance of these watercraft in fresh water as well as in the ocean.<\/p>\n

The US Coast Guard (USCG) assigned Wavewalk the Manufacturer Identification Code (MIC) WUV<\/strong>, which is part of the Hull Identification Number (HIN) marked on every Wavewalk kayak and boat.<\/p>\n
