First family fishing day for the Wavewalk S4: Five passengers on board

By Chris Henderson

Northern Tribe Outdoors

Well it was time for the Annual Family Fishing Day. Once again we went to Lake Devereaux and the trout were plentiful and willing. However, the weather was not so nice! We had squalls blowing through all day long. At times it was brutal wet and cold, and then 15 min. later it was sunny and warm! Crazy spring weather which is typical around here but this is the first time we have had it show up on family fishing day.

Used the S4 this year and the sheer ability to fish more people made it invaluable. I was in it all day. No motorized vessels on this lake so I just paddled which was fine even though the wind made it a challenge at times.

All worth it though to watch kids catch fish.

Enjoy

Our Wavewalk S4

Review of Wavewalk S4 from Indiana

By Glenn Smith

Indiana

We had the S4 out on the water and used the paddles. We were well pleased with everything.

We could not use the outboard because of restrictions on that lake. We will go to a lake that allows outboards, It will be the first time with a motor, and we are looking forward to it.

These are pics of the boat on the trailer that I’m working on. I built a dolly that has 13 inch pneumatic tires – 2 in the back and a swivel in the front. We will try it too.

Two cuties in the water

By Jesse Stephenson

We took the boat out yesterday and cruised around Peanut Island. The perfect little boat for exploring in places bigger boats just can’t get to.

Candy loves the little boat… Two cuties in the water 🙂

Testing the Wavewalk S4 in our maiden offshore voyage

By Magnus Chung

San Francisco Bay Area, California

I finally got a chance to take the S4 out and test it on the water. It’s working beautifully with the Honda 2.3 engine. We actually have 3 people seat in it comfortably and both paddling and using the motor works quite well.

We launched the S4 at a rocky beach, and dragging the S4 over the sharp rocks caused some scratches on the bottom of the S4. This is a minor issue, and I’ve decided not to worry about it 🙂

Overall, I am very satisfied with the S4. Great Kayak and I can’t wait to show it off to my friends on the next fishing trip!

I was too busy with the S4. There aren’t any pics while the S4 is cruising in the water since all three of us were in the S4 and didn’t have anyone to take pictures from the shore.
Here are some of the pics my friend took on the beach –

Veterans’ monthly kayak outing on the water

By Dave Hernandez

St Augustine Paddle Sports

Every month for the past 5 years I have lead Honoring The Brave, which is a non profit program. We arrange a paddle day for Veterans and First Responders to enjoy the day on water with their family and friends.

Recently I introduced Wavewalk vessels to the outing and it has made the day that more enjoyable. Whether they are fishing from them or just paddling around, I get asked can they go out again or can’t wait until next event.
By next event I will have a motorized S4 to take a few out so I can raise the excitement level higher 🙂
