Boyd’s W Kayak Transportation Wheels – Ontario, Canada

Boyd and Sandy Smith, from Ontario, Canada, use their W500 kayak extensively, and needed a solution for transporting it to the water and back from it.
Boyd salvaged a pair of wheels from an broken golf cart, got some 2×2 wood and $10 of hardware, and created his version of kayak trolley, which serves the purpose perfectly. Continue reading

Kayak Touring The Canals and Lakes of Ontario, Canada – First Movie by Bruce Parks

Bruce created this unique kayak touring movie showing him paddling his W500 kayak while touring the serene scenery of Ontario’s canals and lakes.
Bruce uses special effects such as a fisheye lens, a wide lens, underwater photography, and variations on speed.
This movie was shot in HD, and it’s best viewed in a full screen mode:
It looks Bruce used a Tite-Lok clamp mount rod holder as an improvised mount for his high-tech camera :)
