Sungjin and his wife went on a three day trip to the mountains. The trip included paddling, kayaking, stand up paddling, fishing, cooking, visiting local restaurants, trekking, and sight seeing.

Here’s a kayak fishing trip report, courtesy of Sungjin Kim, who distributes W fishing kayaks in Korea.
Sungjin and his wife took a pair of W kayaks, and went on a fishing and fun trip in the mountains. The beauty of the scenery is breathtaking, and the fishing seems pretty good too!
They cooked a real meal on the beach, and after the trip ended, they dined in a restaurant. What could be better?
Sungjin drove his motorized W outfitted with the 2 hp 4-cycle Honda outboard (it’s the first W fishing kayak that got such a motor!), and towed the second kayak during parts of the trip.

Bob Smaldone and Dick Sherman joined me for another day of fishing in Ozello, Florida.
We caught a few fish, but mostly just enjoyed the scenery.
I thought that maybe some snowbound Wavewalkers might also enjoy it.

After a check on the weather, we decided to take the W’s out for a ride on the Oconomowoc River. When we decide to go at the last minute , it only takes us five minutes to load up the W’s in the truck and head out. The weather was perfect and the water was the clearest I have seen this year. I am amazed at what an improved view I have standing in the Wavewalk kayak. I can see so more fish and aquatic life from this height. My Wavewalk kayak does not seem to bother the fish even when I glide near them. When John can’t find the fish, I tell him they’re over here by me. John even caught a few fish on the surface with his J11 floating Rapala. It’s fun to watch these fish attack on the surface!
