New Kayak Fishing Trip Report, and New Modifications in Gary’s Rigged Fishing Kayak

Slow day on the water today but got several undersized trout. I tried yet another rod holder modification (pictures attached) which allows for 4 rods behind me and 2 clamp on rod holders in front for temporary placement while paddling. One of these days, I’ll find the perfect solution. The clamp on rod holders are mounted on a wooden brace fastened in one of the saddle grooves. Continue reading →
