Every month for the past 5 years I have lead Honoring The Brave, which is a non profit program. We arrange a paddle day for Veterans and First Responders to enjoy the day on water with their family and friends.
Recently I introduced Wavewalk vessels to the outing and it has made the day that more enjoyable. Whether they are fishing from them or just paddling around, I get asked can they go out again or can’t wait until next event.
By next event I will have a motorized S4 to take a few out so I can raise the excitement level higher 🙂
I love fishing from Wavewalks here in the St. Augustine area of Florida. Depending where or how I plan to fish is how I decide which Wavewalk I use. I was targeting sheepshead on this outing so took out my W700.
Slow day on the sheepsheads bite but tarpon where rolling all around us. Will Niemann cast netted some mullet so we were able to fish for them. We each were able to catch one so we were pleased to say the least. I was happier because it was my first tarpon. Go to St Augustine Paddle Sports to check out the Wavewalk’s and rent one to get your catch of a lifetime.
We launched the Wavewalk® Series 4 dubbed S4 in May of 2017. So far, it has been acclaimed by its users as a very comfortable and easy to paddle kayak, and a high performance motorboat in terms of fishability, versatility, comfort, load capacity, stability, and seaworthiness.
We publish a Wavewalk review only if it features its author’s full name and state, and pictures (or videos).
We publish reviews contributed by Wavewalk dealers as long as they use our kayaks and boats themselves for paddling, fishing, touring, hunting etc. We listen attentively to what they have to tell us because we think such people know what they’re talking about. We also recommend that our clients consult with them.
