New Pricing For Our Kayaks

Until now, our kayak prices included free shipping to the client’s address. It was free for the client, but expensive for Wavewalk, since we have to ship our kayaks by freight trucks, and in most cases to residential addresses. On top of this, last year trucking companies started charging us a fee for oversized freight.

Effective July 1st, we will introduce a new, differential pricing structure that will reflect our cost of shipping, and will share more fairly and realistically the financial load between clients in different regions.

The total price of a kayak delivered to the client’s address will include two components –

  1. The Basic Price of the kayak ex-factory, South Carolina
  2. A Shipping Fee based on the region to which we ship the kayak

Wavewalk Kayaks Basic Price (ex-factory SC, before shipping)

  • Wavewalk 500: $1,400
  • Wavewalk 700: $2,000
  • Wavewalk S4: $2,600

Shipping Fee

South Atlantic FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, WV, DC, MD, DE $100 $200 $300
Middle Atlantic PA, NY, NJ $150 $250 $350
New England CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME $200 $300 $400
East South Central MS, AL, TN, KY $100 $200 $300
West South Central TX, LA, OK, AR $250 $350 $450
East North Central IL, IN, OH, WI, MI $200 $300 $400
West North Central KS, MO, NE, IA, SD, MD, MN $300 $400 $500
Mountain AZ, NM, NV, UT, CO, ID, WY, MT $400 $500 $600
Pacific WA, OR, CA $450 $550 $650

In any case, Wavewalk’s actual cost of shipping will be higher than the shipping fees that we will collect from our clients. Clients who will pick their kayaks at the SC factory will pay no shipping fee.

Shipping Fee to Addresses in Canada by Metropolitan Area

Montreal $300 $400 $500
Toronto $250 $350 $450
Winnipeg $400 $450 $550
Calgary $450 $550 $650
Vancouver $500 $600 $700

Shipping to remote rural addresses can cost more, and Wavewalk may charge an extra fee for shipping to such addresses.

Wavewalk does not ship to addresses on islands that require a ferry service.

Wavewalk does not ship to addresses in Mexico and overseas. Clients in Hawaii and Alaska take care of shipping from West Coast freight terminals to ports in their state. The same is true for clients in overseas countries.
