Wavewalk S4 driven with a 6 HP motor at full throttle (movie)

We shot this video in Westport Point and Horseneck Beach, two locations in Westport, on the southern coast of Massachusetts.
Driving the S4 with the 6 HP Tohatsu outboard is exhilarating – fun beyond belief, regardless of what you do.
The boat handles very easily, and inspires confidence at high speed and when going through other boats’ wakes. Based on our tests, we can say that experienced drivers can drive it with a more powerful motor.

Look like a Harley-Davidson on water.
Next year I will get the 6Hp Honda for some fun.

  2. Yoav et al,

Flat calm days are wonderful in any boat. But, cruising in the S4 at full throttle on a flat day, allows me to see so many new bottom features that I have missed in bigger boats.

Now, I have a growing inventory of new fishing and lobster spots thanks to having an S4 and outboard motor combo.

No GPS necessary because I am old school. Ranges work better without technical difficulties.

Skimming across calm water like this is like water skiing with a comfortable seat. So much fun!

Where else might someone find a vessel that does so much for a fraction of the cost of most boats?

    S4 = Superb 4 EVERYONE.

  4. Looks like fun. Congrats to whoever did the filming.

  5. AWESOME!!!!!

You were moving in that Video. ๐Ÿ™‚

That S4 looks so smooth and stable.

Love the video and the air shots from the drone.

You are right Larry, S4 = Superb 4 everyone. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Thanks Rox,

You’re moving pretty well too in your Safari W700! ๐Ÿ˜€
    Congratulations!

Those ‘aerial’ shots were not from a drone, but from a tall bridge, and we combined them with shots from a high rock on the beach.
It’s practically impossible to shoot video from a drone legally in eastern Massachusetts, due to restrictions on the way it’s operated, where it’s operated, and the risk of facing both a civil suit and criminal charges in case of an accident.
I must say that I’m basically in favor of these restrictions, because drones are potentially hazardous, and people are potentially reckless…

  7. Yoav,

I couldn’t agree more, drones need to be restricted.

That shooting video from the bridge was a great idea.

Thanks Yoav, that W700 is sweet.

I’ll get a better video up with the W700 updates soon.

Tight Lines and MoPaddle Safe All.

If it was blacked out, I bet the Navy Seals could use it for covert operations.

  9. Jill,

I’d be more than happy to produce black S4s for the Navy, or any other color ๐Ÿ™‚
