Tim Fish Tests the 700

By Michael Chesloff

Tim is a 275 lbs fly fisherman who suffers from back problems. He showed the Wavewalk website to his chiropractor, who told him -“This is the boat you need!”, so he came over to test the W700.
Since he had watched all the demo and instruction videos before, everything was easy for him – From launching to paddling standing, performing stability tests, beaching, and uploading the boat onto his pickup truck bed.

  2. Michael,

That is a very well edited video. The W700 series is a remarkably stable and fun tandem vessel that is great for big folks, too.

Hopefully, Tim will be able to enjoy his Wavewalk for many years in health and happiness.

  3. Larry-
Thanks for the kind words. I use a Sony (as a hat-cam) because it has a very key feature; image stabilization. It really makes quite a difference.

I so enjoyed that video; it brought back many memories of my test ride with Steve Anderson.

I am looking very forward to getting back out in my W700. I have been dealing with illness and antibiotics since before Easter; you know the kind where you must limit your sun exposure or face the consequences of severe rash and maddening itching. Anyway, when I do get back out I hope to have some great reports and maybe even some video. I’m going to have to look into one of those little cameras.

Great report Michael and great test ride there, Tim.

  5. Hi Jill,

It’s good to hear from you again!

I hope you’ll feel better soon, and won’t need to use those antibiotics anymore.

    Take it easy… 🙂
