We’re on vacation in Plymouth Massachusetts. I went fishing for stripers with my son in Plymouth Bay, and here are two out of the five we caught…

Great catch! Congrats… I see you’re still using those aluminum paddle holders. I guess this design isn’t too bad after all 🙂
Glad you had a great trip and you caught some real nice Stripers in Ma. 🙂

Not too bad! I guess these two got invited for dinner… FW
Yes they were invited to dinner, very tasty. My paddle holders were fashioned from 1/16″ X 1 1/2″ aluminum stock, bend to snap on around the opening lip. I wrapped them with duct tape which covered the sharp edges and also makes them more quiet when you drop the paddle in. Stealth mode for fishing.
Nice catch! Nobody is replenishing the ocean for you, and when you fish offshore you compete against everyone 😀 FW
True. We did 3 trips to the same area and caught 15 stripers. The morning I couldn’t go my son got 12 including one 35″. Most of all we caught were on poppers which makes it even more fun. Stripers are always fun to catch but it is hard to beat catching them in shallow water on top water plugs from a kayak.
