Road trip, by Harry Selsor

Took my Wavewalk for its first road trip yesterday using my Ford Transit and mounted it to the roof top. Did fine. Unfortunately not a bird was seen on the river but I had a great time anyway. The Wavewalk “ferried” nicely, was easy for me to load and unload.

  1. Thanks Harry,

Next time you may want to take a couple fishing rods with you – No birds doesn’t necessarily mean no fish… 🙂

  2. Love the photos on your blog, Harry. There’s a couple there of skimmers that are just world class. Can I ask you for data details ? ISO, FL and all that jazz ? What camera do you use and what lens for those skimmer photos did you have on ? Sorry for the questions….

  3. I used a Canon EOS 7D with a 100-400mm lens at 400mm. The settings were 1/2000th, f/7.1 and ISO 400 (due to late evening time light).
