Rox And Lisa Kayak Bass Fishing Adventures At West Twin Lakes, Connecticut

She cast the dinger up on the pads and worked to the edge, and as it fell…………………….BAM ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, then all you see is the W500 being towed
and Lisa’s pole bent to the max……….then the bass buried itself in the weeds, and she drops her tip and says its gone.
I told her to put pressure back on the line and hold her ground, hoping the bass was still there……..then the rod tip starts bouncing, out of the weeds and into the air she comes. Continue reading →

John Fabina’s Duck Hunting Camo Kayaks In Action…

We tried duck hunting today out of the Wavewalk kayaks. As expected the Wavewalks performed great and proved to be a great duck hunting machine.
It managed to hold the decoys, guns, and all the gear we needed for our hunting excursion.
We could shoot from the water safely or easily pull the W’s on shore for extra camouflage.
We were only missing one thing……the ducks cooperation! We only saw six ducks flying this morning.
Hope to try this again sometime this season, will keep you posted. For the record, I would have never tried this in my old conventional type kayak. Continue reading →

Sungjin’s Offshore Kayak Fishing Trip – South Korea

Rox Is Motorizing Her W500 Fishing Kayak

As you know, the motors on the W500 have sparked my interest. So, I picked up a Johnson 2 stroke this past weekend and attached it to my W500.
I won’t be able to do my test ride until Thursday, if it’s not too windy.
I got a short shaft, but with the motor mount I made, it sits perfectly on the W500, and it extends below the hulls. Continue reading →
