John’s W500 Fishing Kayak Rigged for Cold Water Kayak Fishing

John Fabina, from Brew City Kayaks, Wisconsin, created a new video in which he shows how he rigged his W500 for kayak fishing in cold water:

John has been fishing from W kayaks for years in Wisconsin and Michigan, and this is the rigging he likes best for coldwater species such as Crappie, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, Northern pike, walleye, and muskie.

Note the special camo pattern John created for his fishing kayak.

Did you shoot it using your new camera hat? (or is it hat camera :D )
    Yoav

  2. Lou Fager says:

I agree excellent video shoot John. Is that a forcep/pliers holder on the left front lip.

  3. John F. says:

I hand held my Kodak Playsport. More videos coming in the future with my “Hatcams” hat where I can attach the camera to my hat.

  4. John F. says:

Actually that holder is for water bottles. We have clips that latch on to the neck of a water bottle then slip into that strap that is mounted on the lip of the W. But it can be used for just about anything that you can slip into it. It was made out of a piece of dog leash and riveted on.
