John’s New Masterpiece: Wavewalk Blue W500 Fishing Kayak. Wisconsin
Wish I could have been out on the water today. It turned out to be a beautiful day and we haven’t had many this spring in Wisconsin. Unfortunately I am still fighting with a bout of the flu. So I decided to pull the W’s out and do some touch up work and paint scheme changes.
Krylon Fusion for plastics seems to work well for this purpose. Continue reading

Initial Review of Rigged Fishing Kayak With DIY Wheel, Gary Thorberg, Minnesota
Wow! That’s awesome! I was able to jump in and do it all within minutes!
I was very impressed with how well it tracked, and how easy it is to paddle. Haven’t tried a canoe paddle yet. My stand-up balance needs a little more work, but I was able to make a few casts with my fly rod no problem. A few more outings, and I will give it a try with a
passenger. Can’t wait to do it again! Continue reading

W500 Sailing Kayak, Rafael Francke
I do enjoy the W kayak I got, it is really fun to use, and it sails very well without a need for rudder – Shifting my weight forward or aft will guide the boat up or down the wind. Continue reading

3 lb Largemouth Bass for Kayak Fisherman Ray, Lake Cypress Springs, Texas
Fish number 3, at Lake Cypress Springs near Mt. Vernon, TEXAS, 3 lb large mouth bass.… I was competing with the $50K bass boats with 250 hp motors… most of them were in the calmer waters of the points where the W worked just fine. I have rigged a new seat, holder for fish finder transducer and monitor, tackle box and water proof box mount that can be quickly removed. Continue reading
