Jeff’s Review of the Bassmaster Fishing Tournament, Florida

Jeff McGovern recently posted a series of observations and comments on his fishing blog, about the latest Bassmaster bass fishing tournament in Florida, in which he served as Marshal, spending entire days with the champs, on their fancy bass boats. This is a highly interesting read, as one would expect from Jeff, especially if you're into bass fishing.

Jeff is a saltwater W kayak angler from Florida, but he also fishes in freshwater, both in warm and cold water, and even in Canada…

Says Jeff:

“Here is a shot of my 1st day pro Bradley Roy fishing an area about 15 miles south of Palatka.  The river has hundreds of miles of unspoiled shoreline just like this.  After three days with those guys on the water got to wonder why I don’t fish the river more often.  It’s literally 2 blocks from the house, you have almost no cleanup, and the scenery is just gorgeous.  I’ll bet the W500 would love a little sweet water time.

Take Care, Jeff”

    Rox,
When it comes to bass fishing, you’re the golden standard, and I’ll bet there’s a bunch of people who’d agree with me on that 🙂
