Waiting to Flyfish – Craig’s Kayak Fly Fishing Blog
Craig Masterman, a salt water kayak fly angler who fishes in Massachusetts (Cape Cod) and Florida, is known for his demo video he did for the W500 (Thanks Craig!…) and for his well researched setup of his kayak for fly fishing. Jeff’s First Fish of the Year 2011 – Kayak Fishing Trip Report From Sunny Florida
I hit the water on Sunday. Since there so much coming up in the next couple of weeks I was afraid that the first 2011 fish may not come till mid January. So it was three of us kayaked out of Genung’s Fish Camp joined by a father a son in a small aluminum skiff. We hit one of my regular spots and it did look a bit weird all those people fishing one tiny hole no larger than a living room. As always when there are a bunch of us the morning ended up a chat session on the water. Everyone got their first of the year fish, four of us a small red and the young man a small flounder. By the time we headed in the wind was blowing hard and the skies were gray. The trip was a blast since all of us had a heck of a good time. Sometimes the absolute best about a fishing trip is spending time with friends, this was one of those good ones. Continue reading

W Kayak Videos Viewed 230,000 Times on YouTube In 2010
W kayak YouTube videos got 230,000 in 2010. In comparison, we got 150,000 views in 2009. This is an increase of over 50%. Jeff McGovern’s instruction movies on how to rig a fishing kayak are still very popular – Thanks Jeff! Please don’t be shy, and send us your W kayak videos ![]()

We raised prices by 2% to 3% on most of our products, including kayaks, paddles and accessories. This it the result of the raising costs of manufacturing that we’ve experienced in the past year. Continue reading
