Gary Rankel Enjoying Florida’s Wildlife From His Fishing Kayak’s Cockpit

I thought I’d send a few snaps of our Florida scenery and wildlife that I took in a protected cove after getting blown off Kings Bay yesterday before even wetting a line.  The shots show the Wavewalk (1) rigged prior to launching, (2) in choppy water, and (3) returning to the protected launch site.
The wildlife shots show nice closeups of an osprey, great white egret and two cormorants on a sign.
There’s also a shot of a diver with a manatee, an overview of boats anchored in Kings Bay, and my summer home on bay (yeh, right!…).
Not a bad day on the water, even without catching a fish.  I hope all the snowed-in folks up North enjoy them.
