John and Jeanne, and Their W Kayaks, in a Cold Fall Paddle Trip – Wisconsin

Jeanne and I took advantage of the weather and went out on a late fall paddle trip. Before we had our Wavewalks I would of thought twice about taking a trip this time of year. The confidence we have in our W kayaks makes cold water trips more enjoyable.

We still practiced cold weather safety, paddling together and wearing our life vests. We also had dry bags along with a change of clothes.

Jeanne was able to move in close on two turtles taking advantage of the sun this fine fall day. I also took a photo of a deer we floated up on taking a drink, see if you can see her just right of center trying to hide from us.
Having the W s really extends our kayaking season through out the seasons.

P.S. Check out Jeanne’s reflection in the water, kind of “Halloweenish”

    Beautiful pictures. :)

What a nice day for a paddle, even if its cold, the Wave walk W500 or W300 makes it
a high and dry enjoyable ride.

Won’t be long before the snow flies, but I still will be paddling in my W500 up
    until the ice forms.

Tight Lines and Paddle Safe all.
