Rox Makes a Big Splash in Rainbow Reservoir, CT – Kayak Fishing Trip Report

Fished cranks, spinner baits, never threw my dingers at all. Picked up the Drop Shot rod, and it was off to the races. Not sure how many fish were caught today. Lots of Perch, and Sunnies, Smallmouth bass and a few Largemouth bass.

New Improvements in Mike’s Fishing Kayak Rigging, New York

Very easy, temporary, and “green” use of recyclables for handy storage of tackle, water, lunch etc. The noodle material is very handy for quick, temporary storage of hooks/lures keeping them from getting in trouble. The whole contraption easily lifts out and it just fits in place without any drilling or fastening to the hull. Continue reading
