Do you have a recommendation for a product made by others?
Well, there isn’t a wheel product that we can recommend, unfortunately. If there was one, we would have considered offering it.
However, have a look at this video that Jeff shot of himself dragging his old W300 from the beach and up wooden stairs and a ramp:
It’s not that difficult. A plastic lid could protect the part of the kayak hulls that’s in contact with the ground from scratching, which in itself is a problem that’s often blown out of proportion.
Wow Yoav, the old step dragging video. Still do the same thing I think my loaded W500 from the truck is the fastest yak to the water of anything fished there. I tried my wheels set up there once since the dragging never hurt the boat on sand why add another item. Besides that fine sand keeps my bottom nice and smooth after coming in with loads of oyster bed scars. The reality of any of the scratches is as you mentioned overblown.
