Would I be able to attach this rod holder to other parts of the w-yak?

Yes. You could attach a Tite-Lok’s deck mount to the top of a W hull tip, using bolts and nuts, or rivets, similarly to the RAM deck mounted rod holders we offer.
We prefer using deck mounted RAM rod holders on the hull tips because these rod holders are generally higher.
The main advantage we see in the Tite-Lok clamp mounted rod holder is its clamp mount. It’s really a well designed piece of gear. The bolt has a pivoting element attached to its end, which helps achieve a perfectly tight grip.

Dollar for dollar, these are the best rod holders I have ever used.
Mine also hold an angle bar for my sonars transducer.
I can’t say enough good things about the Tite-lok rod holders.

    Tight Lines All!!
Spring is upon us, paddle safe and wear your PFD!!

Am looking for a boat/kyak/canoe that can handle my shallow water and still provide a stable platform for fishing. Wavewalk looks good, but there are a bunch of others. Sugestions??

    Flyrod,
There are other fishing kayaks out there only if you choose to believe hype, and if you don’t care about your back’s health, about staying dry, and about being stable enough not to worry constantly about stability…
In reality, there is only one kayak that allows you to fish comfortably, like you should, and it’s the Wavewalk 500.
