Wayne’s Wheels for W300 Fishing Kayak
Wayne Taylor from Florida, has a 2007 of the W300 fishing kayak that he rigged with oars and DIY outriggers.
This time, Wayne created a set of wheels for his fishing kayak:
-”I have made a transporter for my wavewalk when I need one.
I took an old hand truck, cut its handle, base and wheels off, and rotated the wheels with the braces re-welded into position. I also added to eye bolts and bought a wench ratchet strap, and repainted same. It works beautifully better than I thought it would.”

Nice Job! Gosh, are we looking at a future production item? I had wheels for my canoe when I lived in the Orlando area a few years ago. For pond hopping it was great. In the Casselberry area I rarely even used my car for the canoe just wheeled it all over town fishing lakes and ponds. The W lends itself very nicely to such an arrangement since it can be taken from place to place without derigging anything. All the ideas and inovation the W spawns are a wonderful thing.

Sweet! Nice job with the wheels.
Makes those trips to the places you have to drag the W in, a lot easier.
