Brad,

Jeff recently got into the tackle business, but he isn't selling W kayaks, and never did.

You can order W kayaks directly from the Wavewalk company, see:

Hey Kevin, The two tip model was the Rugged Flex that was the one with the Shimano Curado. The short pistol grip was Emmrod's original Packer with a ABU Record 40. To combine both reel types into one handle section you would need to use one of the straight grip handles like on the Kayak King or Do-All but you would loose the trigger. From my use so far the best version is that Rugged Flex wth a good low profile reel. Buying new right now on the reel side I would say for the money a Shimano Citica in the new E version or the D version which I've seen on sale for around 90 dollars. It fills the spot price wise of my old B series Curado with some nice enhancements. The new Curado is nearly 60 dollars more. Having that trigger on the rod while limiting it's use with a spinning reel adds a load of control with a casting reel. The best comparison to a "normal" size rod is the same as comparing a 2 inch revolver to say a 6 inch revolver. While both are extrememly accurate the 2 inch as the Emmrod requires you to be much more dialed in to control accuracy and distance. The Emmrods are just a blast to fish and once you catch something on one or really start to play with them very hard to put down. It's a feel thng just like the W kayak. You get started using a W then find all these cool advantages other boats lack and you are hooked on them.

Jeff,

Great vidoes.
It was nice to meet you today. I really appreciate you taking time to talk with myself and Marc about your unique fishing craft and your Emmrod. Very cool.
Question? Which model of Emmrod are you using? The one with the two tips. Would be interested in ordering one. Is there a specific model you would recommend that could be interchangeable between a spinning and casting rod through the purchase of an additional rod tip.
Enjoyed fishing 206 today. Look forward to the next adventure at 206.

Good luck Sunday morning.

Respectfully,

Kevin
