Not to mention that the tide can get you stranded, whether you’re fishing or just paddling around.
Very true about the tide stranding folks. With most kayaks or canoes dragging them out is a royal pain and fairly hard to do. However with the W since it’s taller and has such a small wetted surface the drag is much easier. The day I shot the low tide video I dragged the boat out maybe 150 yards with relative ease over the mud flats. I just grabbed the handles and pulled the boat out behind me, never even displaced any gear or the rods. Once I got to deep enough water to float the W sat down side saddle rinsed off the mud then paddled away.
Oysters are bad, they can even chip your paddle blades
