Super Stable Fishing Kayak – New Movie

Here’s another one of those spectacular (goofy?) demo movies we produce from time to time. It shows a rather special stand up paddling technique involving hopping while paddling…
Totally useless in terms of kayaking or fishing, but it’s the best workout I can imagine.

    Is the paddle featuring here the Wavewalk paddle?

    In fact it’s a shorter, 8 ft long version that I borrowed from my kids.
    With the regular size (9 ft long) Wavewalk paddle it’s easier to perform this paddle-hopping style.

    Yes.
    Jeff was on a visit here that day, and I planned to paddle in tandem with him so took my 9 ft paddle for him to use. I needed a second paddle for myself, and just grabbed that shorter one.
    I didn’t think I’d be paddling standing on that occasion.
