New Stand Up Paddles

As promised, Wavewalk is now offering new stand up paddles.

Our stand up paddle line includes single blade and double blade paddles.

    Why would I want to use a single blade paddle for standing?

    You don’t, if you’re paddling a W kayak.
    These single blade paddles are for SUP – Stand Up Paddle Surfing, which is a relatively new sport practiced by board surfers.

    The new, super-long double blade paddles (10 and 11 ft long) can be used for W kayak stand up paddling, but they’ll be too long for paddling in the Riding and Sitting positions.
    I suppose they could be used for SUP – Professional lifeguards in the Mediterranean coast use such paddles with their extra wide paddle boards.
